Men take long Bognor trip.

Pirates 74 Cougars 64

The men took the long trip to Bognor to take on the Pirates.

Although the Cougars were a heavily depleted team, they didn’t give up throughout  a closely fought game. Tiredness eventually took the better of the Cougars who were unable to stave of the Pirates final onslaught. Coach Garside was impressed with the overall performance of the Cougars, despite the lack of numbers.

Cheque for under 16’s

Councilor Shirley Polmounter very kindly presented a cheque for £250 to the team before their match.

The money was donated by Restormel Borough Council.

The team went on to beat Gloster Jets 69 to 43. They are now second in the South West Conference.

The men’s game was cancelled, as the visiting team were unable to travel due to sickness.
